Junior Chamber International Sri Lanka Gampaha (Gampaha Jaycees) held its 27th Annual General Meeting on December 20, 2008 at Saketha Medura, Gampaha. At the AGM, Jc. Charitha Bandara was elected as the Chapter President for 2009.

They won fourteen awards at the recently held National Convention, including the awards for the Most Outstanding Chapter and the Chapter President Award for the fourth consecutive year.
